Paraprofessional/Behavior Therapist position in the Issaquah area | Full-time

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional/Behavior Therapist to join our team at a district in the Issaquah area in providing essential support to students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. This full-time position (30+ hours per week) offers competitive pay with the opportunity for negotiation based on your qualifications and experience in a school setting. because of the nature of the caseload the school prefers Paraprofessionals with behavior experience or BT's, and would even be open to RBT's for the role.
 

Position Details: 

• Issaquah, WA
• Full-Time - over 30 hours per week
• 23/24 SY with Likely Renewal
• $26 - $28 per hour (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive learning environment
• Assist students with classroom activities and assignments
• Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Assist in classroom management and behavior support

Qualifications:

• Associated Degree or High school diploma with Paraprofessional certification or RBT certification
• Previous experience in behavioral and educational settings preferred
• Patience and a passion for working with students
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
